It's Silvia!
I cannot think of a greater joy than when I cuddled you just a few moments after your birth. From the very first moment I watched you and I held you in my arms, it all made sense...
You were born at 02.30 P.M. and you weighed 3450g.
Grandma had prepared a little surprise for this occasion: the blanket she used when I was born, which her mother had knitted and kept for all these years for this special day (that's the one you see on the picture). You liked so much that blanket that it was the only one that made you fall asleep as if you were protected by different generations with love and serenity ... #family #Silvia

The family grows ...
Seeing my own body transforming itself to welcome a new life is a new and beautiful feeling: we took the same picture every month to remind us of every little change while you were growing inside me. You were not born yet #Silvia but we were already a #family! ❤️

Honeymoon in Cuba
Two days after our wedding we left for the honeymoon in Cuba ... the icing on the wedding cake! ?
The warmth and the kindness of people, the music that pervades every corner, the improvised dances and the relaxed atmosphere as if you want to slow down the flow of time left an indelible mark on our early days as newlyweds ❤️ #travels

The wedding
We met because of our passion for boats and our most beautiful memories have all the #sea as a background ... we could only celebrate our wedding on the beach. An unforgettable day, emotions I'll always bring in my heart ❤️ #wedding

Discovering Thailand with the backpack!
In 2008 the passion for #travels and the #sea brought me to Thailand.
Travelling with only a backpack on my shoulders is what I prefer as it allows you to get in touch more deeply with the local culture and during the various shifts to the discovery of paradisiacal beaches, majestic temples, uncontaminated nature, I have been able to meet other adventurous travelers from every part of the world and I share with each of them a piece of travel, a few words, stories or just a fleeting salute...With some of them we are still in touch today and it's great to tell each other about the trips we make every year... who knows, maybe one day we will meet again on a little bus or on a train of who knows which country ...

The colors of India!
At age 29, I have been able to fulfill the desire which has been growing inside me for a long time: to offer to myself the experience of living a solitary discovering-journey in one of the most spiritual and incredible place in the world: India.
I did not know what to expect from such a trip and the reality went far beyond my imagination.
We are used to say that in India you go to find yourself, but to find yourself or to find yourself again you must first get lost. India hits you like a fist in your stomach, it gets inside you and remain there; the smell of the spices that mingle with that acrid odor in the air, the noises of the streets so crowded and chaotic, the black and deep eyes of the people, the great smiles of the children, the Ganges sacredness, the magical sunsets and the thousand shades of bright colors of India are printed in my memory as indelible images! #travels

Trip to Canada with Roberta
University commitments in different faculties and cities have kept us away as never before; you grow up and life leads you to follow your passions, but whenever it was possible we have always found time to be together ... As during this unforgettable trip to Canada which was my parents' gift for my graduation. I could only do it with you @Roberta. #travels

Best friends, like twin sisters!
This photo is the one that best describes my friendship with Roberta; we met at school and since the first day we have always been together; sometimes our moms satisfied our requests to buy us the
same clothes, we felt and wanted to be like twin sisters! It's been over 30 years and still today, sometimes, we buy something identical, an item, a shirt, a hat ... as a symbol of our infinite friendship! #friends

My passion for the sea ...
The passion for the sea grew up with me. During Summer, my father always carried me with the dinghy and I was not afraid; I already loved the waves of the sea, the glitter of the sun on the water like if there were so many stars, the salty air on my face ... In this photo we were on holiday in Sardinia and, although I was very young, I have some images, sensations and unforgettable memories of that time! #friends #sea #boats

Memories of a little girl...
My dad has always taken many pictures of me as a child; growing up I am very grateful to see them today as it brings back to my mind so many memories that I carry in my heart: the smell of scattered laundry, mummy singing in the kitchen, the taste of grandma's donut, Sunday lunch with my uncles, children games with my cousins ... and I feel like I'm becoming a child again every time I think about these moments!

My US uncle Frank
I never met Uncle Franco who left for America before I was born and he settled there, so that Franco became soon Frank for everyone. He disappeared young in an accident and I know very little about him, but his figure has always intrigued me; as a child I often looked at this picture and I imagined his fantastic adventures on the other side of the world ... In common with him I certainly have the gene for adventure

Wedding of my paternal grandparents
My grandmother care so much about this photo that she had always kept it carefully in the drawer of her bedside table, between the pages of a book to preserve it at its best; she never even framed it for fear of being ruined. From time to time she sat on the bed, took it in her hand and spent a few moments to watch it, remembering those times, her youth, her face without wrinkles, my grandfather's love and every time I read in her eyes all the emotions of years of a hard life, but at the same time they were full of joy. They had never taken a picture together before that moment and the wedding was a special occasion to go to the local photographer to fix forever that important day. Now it's up to me to care about this photo for my #grandparents, for me, who loved them so much, and to narrate the story of our #family for my children when they grow up ...
